Early’s Cross House is now in a derelict condition with planning permission having been given to convert it into flats. The grounds of this house that was last used as a Boys School.

Interesting enough whilst Canmore identify the site as a German working camp the Scottish Buildings at Risk Register identify the site as an Italian Working Camp (https://www.buildingsatrisk.org.uk/details/895981).

The reported visible huts are no longer to be found as the east of the site is heavy vegetation along with a series of new housed between the house and the coastline.
