This former PoW Site was close to that of Cultybraggan PoW Camp and has an interlinked history with one camp acting as a satellite camp to the other. Post war this site like many PoW sites was closed and cleared.
The location visited matches that given in the English Heritage 2003 PoW Camp Report that contains some significant errors and admissions. However, the same location is also given by Canmore Scotland that of the Langside Drive, Dalginross. This site is now a housing estate with no trace of the former camp.
