Warcop is like the former Acksea Camp that is to say an active Military Training camp manned with a small permanent staff that accommodates other units for training rotations.

The camp as it exists in modern times features a Domestic / Technical Area main camp with the actual Warcop Training Area located within the local Cumbrian countryside.

As my visit to this site had not been previously arranged, my images are limed to a few shots outside the camp plus the use of a drone flown outside the camp areas IAW CAP 722 – UK Drone Regulations
