This former PoW Site has taken some finding in that Camp 158 was originally established at Bramham and then moved to Burton Fleming; which in older OS maps is labeled / named as North Burton.
The site of the forem camp itself has been identified through the Burton Fleming History Group’s Facebook Page which states that it was located between two bridges on the west side of the village in fields known as Vicarage Closes.
Vicarage Closes fields today are used for the growing of crops with no directly visible evidence as to the sites previous use as a PoW Camp.
