The 2003 report from English Heritage, stated that this site was a “Former Army Divisional HQ reoccupied as a PoW Camp. Foot footings remain extant”. However, this site is now just a field opposite the entrance to Thorpe Hall and a Caravan Site within the hall grounds.

Previous reports place the remains of PreFab huts within the woods. At the time of my visit I was unable to enter the woodland and thus unable to see any remains of the camp within the woods or field.
