Using the information from within the 2003 English Heritage PoW Camps Report to the location given namely; Morton Street in Royston (note: the first image below shows this street as a simple example not to rely on single source data). It was obvious on my arrival that this was NOT the location of a former PoW camp as the houses where small Victorian town houses. In other words, they were too old and too small. In looking and driving around the area it became evident that the former PoW Camp would not be located nearby.

I did some basic on-line investigation and when onto Royston Golf Club that is on Therfield Heath on the outskirts of the town. In taking to the members of the Golf Club I was directed to The Heath Sports Club buildings on another part of the heath. On arriving there I discovered an information board on the side of the building that stated the PoW Camp was located just to the West of the Sports Centre Buildings.
