PoW Camp 168 Brookmill Camp Kirkham

The site of the former PoW Camp 168 Brookmill Camp is to be found within a small industrial estate in Wesham / Kirkham adjacent to the railway line. The industrial estate itself is made up of a mixture of new and old buildings with no direct onsite indications as to the former presence of the PoW Camp Having said the above the “Tony Cartmell – Auto Re-Finishing Centre” yard and buildings and Warden” appear to be located on the site of the former “Brook Mill” as indicated in Malcolm Saunders Research
