In meeting the owner an elderly lady that lived on the farm as a young child I was able to find out a bit more about this site. As built, it was made up of five Nissen Huts that were used to house Italian PoWs who were employed on local farms.

Post war the site was rented out and became a car repair garage. Some years ago, the lady and her husband had the site cleared and modern house was built not just on the site, but it made use of the bases of some of the Nissen Huts.

Today the house sits on a hillside with clear wide views over the Pembrokeshire Countryside. However, traces remain as to the PoW camp in that the bases of two of the Nissen Huts are still present with one used by the owner grandson as a football pitch.
