The site is now a modern Camping and Caravanning Club Site and contains a number of hut bases and pathways as well as an original ablutions block that now serves the same function but for campers in place of detainees. The Reception Building along with the Ablutions block contain photos and information as to the sites past usage as a PoW Camp. The Overhead images of the camp as shown in the Reception for the camp clearly show two parts of the site with the guard’s compound at the front of the site and Nissen Hut accommodation for the PoWs.

One of the things do find of interest is the Nissen Hut bases that can be seen in what amounts to the garden of the site manager. This garden contains one of the VERY few PoW Wooden Huts. However, in examining the original area image it can be seen that a Nissen Hut occupied this location when the camp was in use. Thus it can readily be stated that the hut has been relocated and thus is not original or has been moved from one part of the camp to its current position.
