The former PoW Camp is now Piran Meadows Resort and Spa and is listed as a Hoseasons Site.

I arrived to find barriers that block the entrance to the site, so I pressed the button to talk to reception and the onsite guy said that he was not able to give me permission to take some photos. So I called Hoseasons who told me that they only act as booking agents and was given another number to call of the company that owned the park. They said that I would have to e-mail their marketing people as it was not possible to talk to them on the phone. I got the impression that the marking department and the company as a whole was overseas and that I was just talking to a call handler. Any way I took a couple of photos of entrance and exit of the site plus a Photo of the name board outside reception using my phone.

At the side of the site is a Caravan Storage Company and you can see what appears to be a couple of PreFab huts. I got out of my car pointed my camera at the buildings and the people in the house attached to the site made some very pointed remarks about not taking photos – please note I was on a public road. My photos of this site are thus limited ! I would normally have used my Drone but the site is within the MEZ of Newquay Airport the former RAF St Mawgan
