Colley Weston was built as a Satellite Airfield from RAF Wittering during WWII. PoWs were latter accommodated on the site. However, site as it exists today contains the remains of the Bomb Dump and Ammunition Serving Facility from RAF Wittering along with a quarry and woodland.
At present I have no data as to the exact location of the PoW Camp on the site and the images shown were captured in 2015 when the former Bomb Site was visited as part of a previous project
