The former site of PoW Camp 148 Castle Thorpe is located between a Nursing home and a small Covert of trees between Brigg and Scunthorpe. The site as with may contains none of the original buildings with a modern water pumping station being the only building on this site. However, agan as with a number of other sites traces remain with concrete pads and hut bases along with a could of old war time lamp posts and small brick structures typically used to protect fuse boxes etc..

Again as with many other sites this location revelaves more as to the shape of the site and location of the hut bases when viewed from above using a drone.
