This former PoW Site has been completely cleared and now consists of a School, Theatre Arts and Design complex next to a sports stadium, medical centre, hospital, and a local Halfords. It is all packed into a small enclave on the North West edge of Tiverton bounded by the A3126 ring road and the river Exe. Being a school, I timed my visit to the site on a Sunday and shot a series of images in and around what I though was the correct location using by a DSLR and Drone.

However, subsequent investigation and as shown in Malcolm Sanders notes on this site lies 100-200mm to the North of the location I shot at “Petroc” insead of the school. Had I shot some of my drome images from the same place but with the camera the in the opposite direction I would have achieved my objective of accurately capturing the site.

A revisit to this site is needed with me looking North and not South!
