This is an interesting site in that it is placed midway between an old derelict storage depot made of Romney Huts and an active Royal Marines Base. And the former home of Lord Trenchard on of the founders of the Royal Air Force.

The history of this site can readily be observed in that whilst it is now a mixture of light industrial units as well as a storage company the site also contains several Poultry Sheds. Whilst most of the WWII structures have been removed including the original fencing the size and shape of the suite has been retained. And a small number of PreFab buildings have also been preserved.

The original camp though was much larger and from  from these site remain in a south east direction as far as Cross Keys Close including the site on the corner that contains a number of Romney Huts Photos of the site were taken with both a DSLR and Drone Cameras.

Since visiting this site I have looked at other research and aerial images of the entire site as it formally existed. The images I have taken are of the North of the site. The site as a whole though ran though to Cross Keys Close and also included the area covered by Romney Huts c;lose to the A358 & B3227 Island. W

hilst a Revisit is not a 100% needed next time I pass close to this camp I plan to take additional images to the south of the industrial estate to cover the farmland, housing and Romney Huts
