The former PoW Camp 702 Kingscliffe (Kings Cliffe) was created within one of the Dispersed Accommodation sites of the former RAF Kingscliffe and is to the East of the former runways. This site was used as Primary Repatriation Centre principally for former Luftwaffe personnel and PoWs dispersed and with working within Royal Air Forces Stations following the end of WWII.
The site is located in what is now Old Sulehay Nature Reserve and Woodland within Northamptonshire. More correctly, part of the former site is located within the North West side of the woods that housed the Admin and guard areas of the camp. The PoW accommodation area was in what is now a quarry to the immediate north of the woods. Whilst remains of the admin area exist in the form of the original entrance gate and various hut bases and rubble on the woodland floor, the accommodation area has been lost to the sand quarry.
