This site is a Pre-war School that has been modernised and expanded over the years. On the date of my visit further building work was being undertaken.

This site is now Barlby Bridge Community Primary School of clear Pre-War Origins and Thomas Street is small. Thus, it can be confirmed that the School was used as a PoW Camp. Although it can clearly be seen on site that the school is Pre-War it has been subject to several updated with new buildings being merged into an older school building on the site.

On the time of my visit further building work was being carried out on the opposite side of the school to Thomas Street. Furthermore, the school has a small field on the opposite side to Thomas Street and a playground to the front of the school. So, whilst I can confidently say that the school was the camp what I cannot say without further research and or evidence is whether or not prefab buildings were used on the site in addition to the main buildings. What I can say though is that there are no external traces of the usage of the site as a PoW Camp.
