PoW Camp 18 Featherstone Park

The site of former PoW Camp 18 Featherstone is unique in that it that except for a section that has been washed away by the river the layout of the camp has been preserved along with several surviving buildings, In amongst the site remains there are multiple vertical supports for several buildings. These supports to the best of my knowledge are only to be found at this site.

The site of former PoW Camp 18 Featherstone is unique in that it that except for a section that has been washed away by the river the layout of the camp has been preserved along with several surviving buildings. In fact this is the largest site that I have visited thus far that has retained its shape and layout.

In among the site remains there are multiple vertical supports for several buildings. These supports to the best of my knowledge are only to be found at this site.
