Unlike Lamb Holm Camp 60, where the Chapel and a number of hut bases survived Warebank Camp 34 was completely cleared.

This and PoW Camp 60 were used to hold Italian PoWs that were used to build the Churchill Barriers. These
Barriers served to both restrict the passage of enemy submarines and thus protect the Royal Navy Fleet Anchorage in Orkney, but they also served as a roadway to link the Islands together.

Today, unlike Camp 60 just across the causeway this former PoW site is just a farm field with no traces of the past.
