I visited this site to find a playing field with community centre and tennis courts on one side next to the local school and a kid’s playground on the opposite side. In interviewing staff at the school, I was informed that the Hammond Hall & Sports Centre is location on the former PoW Site. This information is confirmed by the information on WW2 P.O.W.
